The Club has strong cricket and golf sections. The Club also has it's own poker league and it also participates in local snooker boasting two of the finest snooker tables in Cheltenham which are located in a room that looks as if it has come out of a 1930s movie. It has also a Ladies Section who organise presentations by guest speakers and other social events.
Cricket
Welcome to St Stephens CC.
We are a club that has been playing cricket locally since 1884 and our 1st XI currently compete in Gloucestershire County League Division 3. We also run a Sunday Friendly team and have fixtures
across evenings during the summer.
Our home ground is located in Swindon Village where we play many matches throughout the season. Please don't hesitate to come down and watch.
If you are interested in joining us please e-mail any of the Club Officers

Poker
Poker is held twice weekly at the club on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings. There are different organisers for each evening but generally speaking the players come from the same group of members. We currently have a pool of approx. 40 to 45 players and around 20 to 25 play each evening. 15 are regulars every Tuesday and Thursday with the others playing on a more casual basis.
Tuesday Section:
This has seen a change of organiser in 2015 after Ivan gave up in December 2014. Pat Folliard assisted by Will Allen now organise the Tuesday game generally this is a smaller game with between 8 to 10 players and is a great introduction for any new players to the game.
Thursday section:
This is under the stewardship of Rich Cox and attracts around 20 players each week, we have run a league now for the last 6 years and intend to continue this into 2020. The recent Xmas final was a great success and 27 players qualified to play.
Snooker
We have three snooker teams:-
St. Stephens "W" playing in Division 1 of The Cheltenham & District Snooker League (Tuesday)
St. Stephens "P" playing in Division 1 of The Cheltenham & District Snooker League (Thursday)
St. Stephens "X" playing in Division 2 of The Cheltenham & District Snooker League (Monday)
HAROLD BARRETT
Dear sir or madam
do you have Wheelchair Accessible in the club in and out and toilet
Richard A Cox
Wheelchair access to the club is quite easy, we also have a downstairs toilet but there is 1 small step to overcome. Our other wheelchair users do need assistance with this step.
