Ordering procedure at the club
IMPORTANT NOTICE ON ENTERING THE CLUB DURING THE CORONAVIRUS RESTRICTIONS
ENTRY AND PURCHASING DRINKS AND SNACKS
Entry for all members to the club will be via the street entrance to the small bar.
On entry, the member will walk to the bar and order drinks for himself or himself and others.
The drinks will be purchased by presenting their membership card and presenting the amount either in cash or with a credit/debit card.
Anyone accompanying the person purchasing the drinks may proceed to the main bar to find a table.
After the transaction has been completed the member will then proceed to the main bar and wait for their drinks, which will be served at the main bar counter. There will be no facilities for members to drink in the small bar.
When further drinks are required members will leave the main bar via the new main bar door and re-enter the club at the small bar door and continue as detailed above.
ENTRY FOR MEMBERS USING THE SNOOKER ROOM
Those people using the snooker room will purchase their drinks as above and after collecting them from the main bar counter they may then proceed to the snooker room.
There is a maximum of four persons allowed in the snooker room at any one time.
Club members and guests are reminded that whilst visiting the club they must maintain the relevant social distancing rules.

DURING THE PRESENT SITUATION THE CLUB OPENING HOURS WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
MONDAY TO THURSDAY 3.00PM TO 9.00PM
FRIDAYS 1.00PM to 10.00PM
SATURDAYS 12.00PM TO 10.00PM
SUNDAYS 12.00PM TO 10.00PM
BANK HOLIDAYS 12.00PM to 10.00PM
Closing times will be extended in the event of demand or sporting events on tyhe big screen.
GROUP ACTIVITIES
POKER
Poker, usually played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings will not take place until further notice.
BINGO
Bingo, usually played on Wednesday evenings will not take place until further notice.
The resumption of these activities will be reviewed at the end of August.

MEMBERSHIPS ARE NOW DUE
FULL - (25 to 59 at April 1st 2017)
New Members - £20
Renewals - £15 before 31st March 2017 - £20 after.
Any member who joined after 31st August 2016 and
paid £10 will need to pay the full £20 this year.
SENIORS - (60+ at April 1st 2017) &
YOUNG PERSON - (18 to 24 at April 1st 2017)
New Members - £10
Renewals - £7.50 before 31st March 2017. £10 after.
Any member who joined after 31st August 2016 and
paid £5 will need to pay the full £10 this year.
The facilities of the Club will not be available for anyone who hasn't renewed by 31st May 2017.

Real Ales coming to St. Stephens Club over the next few months.
COTTAGE BREWERY 1993 Lovington, Somerset
PACIFIC 4%, Gold coloured with a vibrant hop aroma and finish.
SOUTHERN 3.7%, Gold coloured with malt + fruity hops on the nose. Malt + hops in the mouth with a long fruity bitter finish.
LOCH LOMOND BREWERY 2011 only brewery around the loch
WEST HIGHLAND WAY 3.8%, A light ale with fruity flavours.
WYE VALLEY BREWERY 1985 Stoke lacy Herefordshire
HPA 4%, A pale hoppy malty brew with a hint of sweetness before a dry finish.
DOROTHY GOODBODY'S WHOLESOME STOUT 4.6%, A smooth and satisfying stout with a bitter edge to its roast flavours. The finish combines roast grain and malt.
DONNINGTONS BREWERY 1865 Upper Swell Gloucestershire
B B 3.6%, A pleasant amber bitter with a slight hop aroma, a good balance of malt and hops in the mouth and a bitter after taste.
WICKWAR BREWERY 1990 Wickwar, Gloucestershire
BOB (Brand Oak Bitter) 4%, Amber coloured, it has a distinctive blend of hop, malt and apple/pear citrus fruits. The slightly sweet taste turns into a fine, dry bitterness , with a similar malty lasting finish.
STANWAY BREWERY 1993 Stanway House, Gloucestershire
STANNEY BITTER 4.5%, A light refreshing amber coloured beer dominated by hops in the aroma with a bitter taste and a hoppy bitter finish.
STROUD BREWERY 2006 Thrupp, Stroud Gloucestershire
BUDDINGS 4.5%, Pale ale with grassy bitterness sweet malt and floral aroma.

50p Off Alcoholic Drinks
The Club has decided to offer 50p off alcoholic drinks between the hours of 14:00 and 16:00 Monday to Thursday starting 1st April 2016 for one months trial.
The discount applies to pints of draught product (not halves), bottles of beer/larger/cider and measures of spirits/port/vermouth.
Drinks purchased must be poured at the time of purchase i.e. you cannot put drinks "in" for yourself or anyone during the concessionary period.
Unaccompanied visitors to the club cannot avail themselves of this concession. - 24. Jun, 2015

Premier League and Football League fixtures announced
Chelsea will begin their Premier League title defence with a home game against Swansea on the weekend of 8-9 August.
Manchester City, who finished eight points adrift of the Blues, travel to West Brom while Manchester United face Tottenham at Old Trafford.
Arsenal host West Ham, Liverpool go to Stoke, Newcastle play Southampton and Leicester welcome Sunderland.
Promoted trio Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich face Aston Villa, Everton and Crystal Palace respectively.
The top-flight season starts a week earlier than last season - on the same weekend as the Football League - as the 2016 European Championship starts on 10 June.

The Club is undergoing various bits of maintenance throughout the year. Scaffolding is up and outside renovations will be starting soon.

Bar Refurbishment
The bar is being refurbished in the next few weeks.
This means that unfortunately the club will be closed from Sunday 21st June 22:00 through to Wednesday 24th June 23:00. The club will be open for business as usual from Thursday 25th June 12:00 - 21. Feb, 2015
